Terms of Service

Last updated: June 19, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the SalonTic platform, operated by 1st4media S.à r.l.. By creating an account or using SalonTic, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who we are

SalonTic is a salon management and booking platform operated by 1st4media S.à r.l., a company registered in Luxembourg (RCS B133937), with its registered office at 28, cité Joseph Brebsom, L-4046 Esch-sur-Alzette, Luxembourg.

2. The service

SalonTic lets beauty and wellness salons manage their business (bookings, clients, services, payments and related tools) and lets customers discover salons and book appointments.

We may add, change or remove features at any time. We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

3. Accounts & eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract to create an account. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your login credentials secure.

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

4. Salons and customers

Salon owners are independent businesses. They are solely responsible for the services they offer, their prices, their availability, and for fulfilling appointments booked through the platform.

SalonTic is a technology provider and is not a party to the contract for services between a salon and its customers.

5. Bookings, payments, cancellations and reviews

You need a SalonTic account to book. When you book an appointment you make a request to the salon; the resulting service contract is between you and the salon, and we do not store full card details.

  • Deposits & prepayment: some salons require a deposit or prepayment when you book, processed by our payment provider Mollie. A deposit is applied to the price of your appointment, or handled as described in the salon's policy shown at booking.
  • Cancellations & no-shows: each salon sets its own cancellation window and any late-cancellation or no-show fee. These are displayed when you book, and you may be charged in accordance with that policy.
  • Refunds: where a refund is due, it is returned to your original payment method via Mollie. Each salon is responsible for its own pricing and refund decisions.
  • Right of withdrawal: because appointments are services provided on a specific date or time, the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal under EU consumer law does not apply once a booking is confirmed.
  • Reviews: you can review a salon only after a completed appointment. Reviews must be honest, lawful and respectful; we may remove content that breaches these Terms.

6. Fair discovery — no paid ranking

SalonTic ranks salons in customer search by relevance factors such as proximity and genuine, booking-verified ratings, together with a rotation that shares visibility among comparable salons. Ranking cannot be purchased; there is no paid placement.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the platform.

  • Do not upload unlawful, infringing, misleading or harmful content.
  • Do not attempt to access data you are not authorized to access.
  • Do not disrupt, probe or circumvent the security of the platform.
  • Do not use the platform to send spam or to scrape data without permission.

8. Intellectual property

The SalonTic platform, its software, design and trademarks are owned by 1st4media S.à r.l. or its licensors. Content you submit remains yours, but you grant us the rights necessary to operate and provide the service.

9. Disclaimers and liability

The platform is provided "as is" to the extent permitted by law. We are not liable for the conduct of salons or customers, or for indirect or consequential damages. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Luxembourg law, including in cases of gross negligence or wilful misconduct.

10. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are breached or where required by law.

11. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. The courts of Luxembourg have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rules that grant consumers the right to bring proceedings in their country of residence.

12. Changes and contact

We may update these Terms; material changes will be communicated through the platform. For any question about these Terms, contact us through the in-app support assistant.
